Partnerships

PARTNERSHIPS, different from sponsorship, is an alignment of ideas and mutual support for shared goals. The Short Game offers several opportunities for partnerships that would enhance the message and reach of the film.
We are just beginning the process of speaking to potential partner organizations. An example (though not yet signed) of such potential partners is AUTISM SPEAKS and the AUTISM SOCIETY. Both are national organizations promoting research and the ongoing support of those with autism. In seeking partnerships with these societies, we hope to reach an interested, targeted audience for the film, as well as ensure that we remain factual and true to the portrayal of a high-functioning autistic person, represented in the character of Ethan.
PGA: By seeking an alignment with the Professional Golfers of Association of America (PGA), we seek to bring authenticity to the athletic aspect of the film. Such a partnership would not only allow us to integrate PGA branding throughout the film and gold scenes, but also make it easier to approach name professionals to appear in the film. Additionally, working with the PGA would allow us to promote youth golf and the many positives that accompany participation in this sport. As the PGA is already involved with youth golf via sponsorship of tournaments and scholarship opportunity, The Short Game offers the PGA a chance to expand on their message and mission.

Note that the above organizations are not currently affiliated with our project. We will be reaching out to them and others and use these as examples of appropriate and worthwhile groups.

In the coming months, we will look to expand on partnership opportunities and engaged such alliances as early as possible.
